Hulk’s son Skaar appeared in the She-Hulk finale

The Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law served as an origin for Jennifer Walters while also marking the MCU’s first Hulk in a prominent role since The Incredible Hulk.

The MCU has mostly avoided the 2008 film and subsequent solo pic ever since Mark Ruffalo took over Edward Norton’s role as Bruce Banner and Universal owns the licensing rights to the character.

Not only is Disney expected to reclaim the rights to the character next year, She-Hulk also laid the groundwork for future Hulk storylines while revisiting a number of plot themes from the 2008 film.

Bruce Banner visits Jen while she is having dinner with her family and Matt in the She-Hulk finale. After stating that he was in Sakaar, Bruce says, “Here is my son, Skaar”, before introducing the individual. Skaar, played by actor Wil Deusner, is revealed to be an all-CGI Hulk when Bruce retreats.

Who is Skaar in the comics

Skaar is a beloved Marvel superhero who frequently appears as a supporting character in storylines featuring his father, Hulk, who had Skaar with the alien Caiera during the “Planet Hulk” storyline in 2006-2007. He debuted in What If Planet Hulk #1, written by Greg Pak and designed by John Romita Jr.

Skaar’s debut wasn’t She-only Hulk’s hint at a future Hulk movie.
When Jen talks to AI robot KEVIN about the She-Hulk finale storyline, she takes issue with the concept that Bruce will return from space to save the day.
Jen responds, “Keep it for the movie,” when KEVIN argues that Bruce’s return is necessary both to clarify why he was in space and to establish character.
World War Hulk, which was reportedly in the works ahead of She-Hulk’s release on Disney+, could very well be that movie.
World War Hulk was really brought up by Mark Ruffalo when discussing the character’s potential future.
