With creators having recently added more and more characters to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and She-Hulk: Lawyer laying the groundwork for all future projects involving the Hulk, Hulk’s cinematic future may well be imminent. With the show’s sure surprise reveal in the first season’s final episode, it’s exciting to see where the Hulk arc goes from here. This could open up the possibility of some versions of the Hulk being introduced into the MCU, particularly the fan-favorite World War Hulk storyline.

Mark Ruffalo shared his thoughts on Hulk’s future and what he wants from his character. While speaking to The Entertainment Weekly, Ruffalo expressed how excited he was for the Hulk’s future in the MCU, hoping to see how the character evolves, with or without him. He also referenced the possibility of World War Hulk hitting the big screens in the MCU.
“The cool thing about this world is that it could be anything. Five years from now it could totally turn into anything, whatever is relevant at the time. I see it almost going back to ‘Berserker Hulk’ or ‘World War Hulk’ It could go anywhere That’s the exciting part – I’ve played five different versions from start to now, and it’s kept the interest for me and hopefully interesting for others.
The World War Hulk storyline involved an event in which the Illuminati banished Hulk from Earth. Upon returning to Earth from the planet Sakaar, he swore revenge against the Illuminati. Now seeing this plot on the big screen would be a treat for fans. The day may not even be too far away, especially since She-Hulk: Lawyer The season finale introduced the Hulk’s son, Skaar.

She-Hulk: Lawyer Reveals a possible arc for the Hulk

According to the comics, Skaar was the result of the Hulk’s time on the planet Sakaar during the Hulk World War storyline. This could mean that World War Hulk in the MCU is most definitely possible.
In another scene, Jennifer Walters enters Marvel Studios, breaking the fourth wall and coming “face to face” with the AI robot, KEVIN. She asks him to erase the “thrilling endingwhere the Hulk descends from space, as it would distract from her.
This hints that the particular Hulk storyline could be turned into a movie with KEVIN saying “See you soon on the big screen. This movie could feature World War Hulk.
Without forgetting that ironically, Age of Ultron and Thor: Ragnarok were both playing in the studio when Jennifer Walters walked in. These two films span years that explain Skaar’s existence. We all know Marvel’s love of Easter eggs, after all. Considering so much of the Hulk’s story hasn’t been discussed in the MCU, it’s exciting to see where the possible arc takes viewers.
