Mysaria has a very intricate and mind-bending backstory in the books. However, it looks like George RR Martin, Ryan Condal, and other showrunners chose not to allocate a lot of screen time to Mysaria. Much of the plot that House of the Dragon left out, but the books mentioned, is that Mysaria becomes pregnant with Daemon Targaryen’s child. Unlike the HBO hit House of the Dragon, where Daemon only lies to his brother and king, Viserys, to either give him a place on his council or do his hand. His whore Mysaria seeks safety, and it seems to her that Daemon doesn’t take her too seriously.
It seems that by the eighth episode, Mysaria is carrying out its illegal operations, and Daemon knows it very well. Let’s see what Lady Mysaria is up to.
How House of the Dragon portrays Mysaria?

Lady Mysaria in the House of the Dragon
Actress Sonoya Minuzo, who plays Lady Mysaria in House of the Dragon, recently spoke with a media house named Women’s Wear Daily. In conversation, she said, “My character strays quite far from the character in the book. It’s both liberating and a challenge for me and the director. Liberating in the sense that we had more freedom, but there also had to be some sort of framework. And when Minuzo was asked specifically about her character, Lady Mysaria, she added, “She’s (Mysaria) a self-made woman who also makes a lot of mistakes in the first season. It was like she was going on a journey. to figure out who she was and what she wanted in her life, and make mistakes.
This conversation proves that House of the Dragon is more feminist than ever. It’s also a tradition in the Game of Thrones universe to give female characters empowering roles.
Who does Lady Mysaria talk to

Queen Alicent’s servant Talya goes to see Lady Mysaria in House of the Dragon episode 8
In House of the Dragon season 1, episode 8, Lord of the Tides, Mysaria encounters a girl in a black hood. Daemon Targaryen also wears the same black-colored hood, which makes it even more prominent. So, who does Mysaria meet in Episode 8 of HOTD?
Mysaria meets Tayla, who is Queen Alicent’s personal servant. Do you remember the scene in which Alicent confronts a scared girl who slept with Aegon II? It was her servant Tayla who brought the Moon Milk, as she is very close to the queen. She will prove to be a powerful asset, as she can work as a spy for Lady Mysaria. Who’s to say she doesn’t already have plenty of others like Tayla working for her? In this way, Mysaria would be the Varys (Master of Spies) of the House of the Dragon. We cannot be certain that she will officially obtain a post from the crown. However, she has strong ties to Daemon Targaryen, which could possibly be pulling some strings.
