What was in Ryan Reynolds’ Fake Political Ad video?
Ryan Reynolds escalated their friendly feud by tweeting a fake political ad against Hugh Jackman on Friday, asking his supporters, “How well do you really know Hugh Jackman?”
“Some people have been duped into thinking Hugh Jackman’s upcoming performance in The Frontrunner deserves an award, but before voting begins, some people should consider these facts,” the video narrated by Reynolds, begins.
“Hugh Jackman is not his real name. This is Hugh Michael Jackman. Hugh Michael speaks with a charming accent, but he’s actually from Milwaukee. He then quit his job at Wolverine, which made unemployment worse,”
The dead Pool the actor alleges in the video, even as a note at the bottom of the screen reads, “That is by no means true.”
“Is this the type of amazing actor and likable person we want to deliver a preachy liberal speech this awards season? Or maybe there is a real foreigner from a border country who would really like it,”
Reynolds ends the video by encouraging all of his followers to see a new movie. “I am not Ryan Reynolds, but I agree with this message”, he says.

How Hugh Jackman Reacted to Ryan Reynold’s Fake Political Ad?
Hours after Reynolds’ video went viral, Jackman took to the highway and posted his hilarious video. In his response, the The greatest showman The star is seen walking her dog and picking up her trash, which was above a photo of Reynolds as dead Pool.
This isn’t the first time the two have gone public with their friendship. Reynolds showed up at Jackman’s cafe in New York in May as the Wolverine actor was hiring.
“We announced that @laughingmancoffee is looking for a new barista…and @vancityreynolds shows up? “#makeeverycupcount,” Jackman captioned a photo of the two celebrities with cafe workers.
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have a habit of trolling each other on social media. The two have also pranked each other in the past and will continue to do so.
The duo will be seen together in Dead Pool 3 released on November 8, 2024.
