Loki Season 2 Filming Reportedly Completed

Good news for all Loki fans. It looks like the upcoming season 2 featuring The God of Mischief and his love interest, Sylvie, has finally wrapped filming. Whichever variant of Loki you encounter, wherever you encounter them, they all share one important characteristic: they will always make an effort to survive.

When will Loki season 2 be released on Disney+?

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will soon be able to enjoy plenty more of Tom Hiddleston’s God of Mischief on Disney Plus. Loki’s first season came to a dramatic end when Sylvie, played by Sophia Di Martino, murdered “He Who Remains”, aka Kang the Conqueror, played by Johnathan Majors. As a result, the multiverse was awakened, bringing chaos.

The second season of Loki will premiere on Disney Plus in the summer of 2023. Marvel Studios announced the expected release date for the second season at San Diego Comic-Con in 2022.
Filming for the second season began in June 2022 in the UK, and the sets for this season have a 1970s aesthetic, according to leaked footage.

The trailer, reportedly leaked from Marvel’s D23 panel, would show Loki being destroyed in time before returning to the ruined TVA buildings. There, he allegedly hit a wall with a staff, which shattered to reveal a statue of Loki’s infamous antagonist, Kang the Conqueror. Later, Sylvie makes an appearance with a group of Loki clones at what appears to be a record store in London.

Since Kang’s involvement in the upcoming Ant-Man movie, slated for release in early 2023, has already been confirmed, it’s unclear if Loki season 2 will offer Kang a bigger role.

Other than that, a full trailer is unlikely to be released by Marvel Studios until about a month before the show begins.
