Emily Blunt hinted that Office The star and her husband John Krasinski could play Mister Fantastic again in the MCU. The actor was last seen as Reed Richards aka Mister Fantastic in Doctor Strange 2, where the character did not have a very good fate. Following this, director Sam Raimi himself reported that it was the Reed Richards of a parallel dimension and was made primarily for fan service. The character met a brutal death when Wanda Maximoff shredded him into spaghetti. But that was the Earth-838 version, so the main universe Reed Richards has yet to be seen.
Recently, in an interview at the London Film Festival, Emily Blunt hinted that all the recast rumors are a hoax. She said she was very happy when her husband got the role as even Krasinski was a big fan of the superhero verse.
“I was really happy for him because I think he’s a huge fan. And I get why it’s such a fiery, passionate religion for people. It’s a big part of our cinematic history now. He was so delighted.
Also, when the interviewer told her that everyone was hoping to see him again, she gave a very smart response.
Interviewer: “Well, I think everyone else was too, hoping we can see him again.
“Blunt: “Yeah? Well, I hope so. I hope. We never know.”
This is not a concrete answer and can mean many things. It may also be the truth that she may not know the truth either, but the fandom is still hoping that John Krasinski could also be the next Reed Richards. Fantastic 4 film.
