“You know, as an actor, I should be allowed to play any person, any tree or any animal because that’s my job and the demands of my job. I have feel like it’s a trend in my business and it has to happen for various social reasons but there are times when it gets uncomfortable when it affects art because I think art should be free restrictions.
Scarlett Johansson received a lot of backlash for portraying Major Motoko Kusanagi in the live-action manga remake ghost in the shell following which the actress was ousted from the sets of Rub and pull where she was supposed to play the character of Dante “Tex” Gill.

“Our cultural understanding of transgender people continues to grow, and I’ve learned a lot from the community since my first statement about my casting and realized it was insensitive. I have a lot of admiration and love for the trans community and I’m grateful that the conversation about inclusivity in Hollywood continues.
Scarlett Johansson has also revealed that she was over-sexualized when she was young. This led to further revelations about the actor’s life. The actress best known for portraying the role of Black Widow was last seen in Black Widow (2021) following an absence from the theater so far. There are currently no plans revealed for the actress, as of now, other than Phantom with an exit window in 2023.
