There’s still a Tony Stark-sized hole in the MCU. His death in Endgame was tragic and unforgettable. But people miss having an armored person in the franchise. And that’s where Riri Williams aka., Ironheart comes in. She gets her solo show which prepares her for future adventures. But when does his show Ironheart take place in the MCU?
When is the Ironheart Disney+ show set?
Heart of Iron vs. Namor
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will change the trajectory of the MCU in Phase 4, and it’s expected to lift the franchise out of its recent slump. After all, the film is the sequel to the beloved first and they will feature Namor and a new Black Panther in it.
But there’s another character they introduce, and that’s Riri Williams, who will be Ironheart going forward. Played by Dominique Thorne in the MCU, she will be inspired by Tony Stark and follow in his footsteps. In one of her TV spots we see her armor named Mark 2presumably after Tony’s costume set.

We also suspect that Wakanda’s resident genius, Shuri, will also inspire her. Fans can’t wait to find out when her show will air and we finally have the answer.
In an interview with CinemaBlend, Black Panther producer Nate Moore clarified that the show Ironheart takes place right after Black Panther 2. Watch the video below:
Who will be the villain of the Ironheart show?
The hood
Ironheart is currently filming and we know that The hood is going to be one of the main antagonists of the series. After all, he represents the magical spectrum of the MCU while Riri will be on the technical and scientific side. It will be a clash between the mystical and the technical.
Outside of The Hood, rumors abound that Doctor Doom will make an appearance inside. So even though initial rumors pointed to Doom appearing in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but it looks like plans have been changed and he’s been pushed to the show that follows the movie.
