Given that the franchise has found the taste of stereotypical success that comes with the tried-and-tested recipe of narrative-controlling heroes, there’s no room for the maddening angst and cinematic bildungsromanism that exists in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy. and the controversial SnyderVerse.
Hugh Jackman will baptize the new dawn of the MCU
Wolverine star Hugh Jackman has retracted his declaration of freedom from the Foxverse franchise after Logan and is now making a return alongside longtime nemesis Ryan Reynolds. While it will be a dream come true to see the Mutants and the Avengers finally fight side-by-side onscreen, the tragedy then becomes Jackman’s long-held dream of starring alongside the same. But it’s only now, when he already has one foot in the realm of retirement, that Disney and Fox decide to work together in unison. One can only imagine the masterpieces that could have been when the world still had the original six of the MCU and if Fox and Marvel had come together at the height of the McAvoy-Fassbender-JLaw X-Men era. .
Dead Pool 3 will premiere on November 8, 2024 and kick off the highly anticipated MCU Phase Six.
