It’s no surprise that out of the many CBM franchise projects that now litter our daily lives, Marvel Studios’ oldest mainstay will definitely pick the movie that doesn’t even belong in the Marvel Universe. Given that the franchise has found the taste of stereotypical success that comes with the tried-and-tested recipe of narrative-controlling heroes, there’s no room for the maddening angst and cinematic bildungsromanism that exists in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy. and the controversial SnyderVerse.

The Foxverse stands to this day as a self-confident franchise with some very successful blockbusters, despite the few hiccups like dark phoenix and The New Mutants. However, Marvel and Disney are already on the verge of engulfing mutant heroes under a unified banner, the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While it will be a dream come true to see the Mutants and the Avengers finally fight side-by-side onscreen, the tragedy then becomes Jackman’s long-held dream of starring alongside the same. But it’s only now, when he already has one foot in the realm of retirement, that Disney and Fox decide to work together in unison. One can only imagine the masterpieces that could have been when the world still had the original six of the MCU and if Fox and Marvel had come together at the height of the McAvoy-Fassbender-JLaw X-Men era. .

Dead Pool 3 will premiere on November 8, 2024 and kick off the highly anticipated MCU Phase Six.
