It’s been a while since Kang made his first appearance in Loki, sparking the start of an entire multiverse of stories waiting for fans to see. Loki was finally able to lead his series on Disney+ after making his first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Thor. Years later, Tom Hiddleston starred alongside Sophia Di Martino on the show where they both discovered each other and the challenges that awaited them.
The show also defined other MCU projects by opening up the multiverse, as well as laying the groundwork for Kang the Conqueror, who was first seen as the One Who Remains on the show. However, it looks like the show was going to have a completely different outcome than what fans received.

Loki almost got a different ending
Loki was supposed to have a completely different ending for the titular character. He was supposed to finally get the peace he so longed for, ending with him leaving for a completely different universe, giving the character what he’s been asking for ever since his brother first retrieved Mjolnir. He would go off to different worlds, exploring and having adventures that would then have supported Loki’s dream.
“So some of the designs incorporated a bit of the TVA uniform he’s been wearing throughout the season – like a custom version of it – and some are based on various Lokis from different comics. Those that wore puffy white and black robes both looked like an enlightened Loki practicing yoga, or something.
Loki was revealed to have several costumes, all incorporating his adventures. This one came out in Marvel’s Loki: The Art of the Series, which was also the book that gave the idea that there was more than one ending.
Loki had to leave everything behind and live his life on his terms rather than be driven by means such as the Tesseract and take the throne of Asgard.

Alas! Loki couldn’t get his happy ending
Tom Hiddleston might have wanted Loki installed in life, but Marvel certainly had other plans. Not only setting up an entire saga revolving around the multiverse, but also introducing Kang from Johnathan Majors created the basis for an even bigger villain than Thanos.
The second season of Loki had already been announced as the ending credits scene for the show’s season finale and production on it has already begun, raising fans’ anticipation. Currently, it’s unclear what future project would see the character next.
