According to reports, a test screening for the upcoming Sony Spider-Man Universe movie, Kraven the hunter, took place. Things look promising. Kraven the Hunter would have been seen by a test audience. Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s comic book adaptation reportedly received favorable reviews from audiences.
Obviously, a drug test is only a snapshot designed to determine public response. Films frequently undergo alterations between these screenings and their general release. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who plays Kraven, gave his take on the character in July after calling Kraven an “animal lover” in a statement that drew criticism from fans who saw it as incompatible with Kraven’s line of work.
What I love about the character is that he is humanized by having imperfections. Is not it? Taylor-Johnson said. Sergei Kravinov is a wonderful character. He is an imperfect person who knows himself really well. Even though this is a new time and place and the character was created years ago, he will undoubtedly remain the hunter we all want to see.
Not much has been made public about the plot of Kraven the Hunter, which is written by Art Marcum, Matt Holloway and Richard Wenk and directed by JC Chandor. It is believed that the film will tell the origin story of the famous supervillain and instead turn him into an anti-hero, like Venom and Morbius, two other Sony Marvel films.
