Millie Bobby Brown recalls being on set with Henry Cavill
While it’s truly amazing to see an eccentric Sherlock get along with his brother and team up to solve a case, Henry Cavill’s whimsical presence makes the role even better. But that’s not all the tea from Netflix’s set of Cavill’s new movie. During an interview with BBC Radio 1 film critic Ali Plumb, Millie Bobby Brown spills some insider secrets from her time on the sets of Enola Holmes 2 and his theories on what stands in the way of Henry Cavill and a TikTok video dance.
“Ali, it’s honestly like moving a brick wall. It won’t happen unless I take a hammer and just walk in there, it won’t happen. When Plumb facilitates the commentary by recalling how in the film Cavill’s Sherlock is like a dead horse on top of another dead horse, Brown quips sarcastically, “It is, it really is like that. It’s Henry Cavill, our new James Bond. Even if the “James Bond” the joke garnered unwarranted noise, it should be noted that the mistake about Cavill being the next Bond was entirely made as a joke to be understood in the context of the interview, and was not a confirmation of the role of actor within the 007 franchise.
Enola Holmes 2 is now available to stream on Netflix.
