Call it what you will, but Chad Stahelski’s epic series of four action movies, which we all know as John Wick franchise, has truly been an exciting watch, setting the bar for action movie making. Stahelski’s work is impressive, but what more could be done to extend John Wick’s legacy?
For starters, the idea for a fifth film in the franchise is already on the books as it’s in development, but there’s a lot more you can add to a franchise with so much potential. If you guess, Lionsgate has big plans for a video game based on the franchise, so fans better start saving $60 starting now!

John Wick Could Get A Video Game Adaptation
There was a lot of effort in the group led by Keanu Reeves John Wick franchise since the first film was released in 2014. Two additional sequels have already earned rave reviews, with the fourth installment currently on its way to hit theaters next year.

But these are all media that you can watch/read, without actively interacting with them. Cue a video game adaptation, of which we already have the VR game Chronicles of John Wick as well as tactical role-playing John Wick Hex.
However, a bigger step in the video game industry for the franchise would be to produce a triple A game based on the franchise, and to be more ambitious, an open world game!
A triple-A John Wick open-world video game sounds pretty good, right? Well, that’s exactly what was discussed on a Lionsgate earnings call today, with CEO Jon Feltheimer discussing proposals for the same.
According to a report from IndieWire, Feltheimer had this to say about it all –
“I don’t want to take a lead here, but we think there’s a big AAA game to do with ‘John Wick’.”
“We have made proposals. We’re certainly interested in moving this forward, but I don’t want to say anything more about it at this time. »
An open-world video game usually requires a stacked computer (or one compatible enough to run modern AAA games) to run it at a reasonable pace on your PC. So fans are going to have to worry about building a powerful new PC or just watching YouTube gameplay.

Fans have already organized developers for the John Wick video game
When it comes to open world games, there aren’t too many good video game developers in the industry. With the famous French video game company / developer Ubisoft and its recent titles in lower quality.

While all of these options are lucrative, Lionsgate will have to carefully choose which one can preserve the action-packed nature of the game. John Wick franchise while making it an interesting open-world game.
John Wick: Chapter 4 is set for a theatrical release on March 24, 2023 in the United States.
