The DC Universe is full of characters like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and many more. But DC bosses have so far failed to take advantage of these weapons. Superman especially languished for a long time with only one TV show now in his name.

But with The arrival of Henry Cavill and confident leadership, things are looking up for DC. Taking to Twitter, James Gunn tweeted that the plan moving forward was to focus on telling the bigger stories.

James Gunn’s reign has just begun. The director has just taken up his duties with Peter Safran on 1 November. So nothing has materialized so far. However, there are reports of a Superman movie in the works and a Black Adam sequel is also rumored to be written.

Other than that, DC has a full slate ready for release in 2023. Aquaman 2, The Flash, Blue Beetle, and Shazam 2 will represent the brand next year. And there are more movies and shows in development, like Joker 2 and the Penguin HBO Max show.

So, right now, things are happening in DC. It just remains to be seen if James Gunn will be able to put all the pieces together to create a unified universe like wonder did.
