Rick and Andrea McSorley, parents of Trace McSorley, have been married for over 30 years. Moreover, the proud parents are delighted to see what their children have done in their field of work.
Rick, who played competitive football during his college career, seems to have inherited his son’s passion for the sport. His uncle Jeff McSorley played football for Marshall University and his father played football for the University of Richmond.
Namely, on September 7, 2022, McSorley, Rick’s son and NFL quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals, was added to the active roster.
After watching him play college football at Penn State, the Baltimore Ravens selected him in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
McSorley is the holder of a number of Penn State school records, such as most passing touchdowns in a season, most passing yards in a season, most career offensive yards, and most touchdowns in a single season.

Trace McSorley Parents: Rick and Andrea McSorley
Rick and Andrea McSorley, the Cardinals quarterback, are the parents of Trace McSorley. His parents each had successful careers.
His mother, Andrea, grew up in Fairfax County and is originally from Virginia. She graduated from the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in education.
In 1992, she and her husband Rick returned to Nova Scotia, and on July 11 of that year, they were married. Additionally, they recently posted on Instagram to commemorate their 30th wedding anniversary.
Additionally, they were very active in their community in Ashburn and raised their two children, Trace and Micaela, in Fairfax until moving to Loudoun County in 1999.
They saw firsthand how the region as a whole has become one of the best places in the country to live and work.
His father Rick works as an account manager at Salesforce
Rick has worked as a Strategic Account Manager at Salesforce since February 2022 and holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Richmond.
Rick recently joined the team after more than ten years as a VIP Client Manager at Optum and two years as a Vlocity RVP.
He also worked in the accounting and sales departments for over 30 years.

Andrea began her profession in real estate in 2002 while working as a homeroom teacher for Arlington County Public Schools.
Her teaching experience makes her an ideal candidate for the work of accompanying buyers and sellers in the context of real estate transactions.
Andrea’s experience as a teacher has enabled her to help her clients with questions and concerns regarding location, time, budget and investment, as each client’s situation and circumstances are unique.
As a Realtor, Andrea is also aware of the time and pressure involved in a transaction, and she takes her role of supporting the ‘human’ parts of the process seriously.
Andrea is currently employed as an Associate Broker at One Loudoun office and is certified as a Relocation Specialist and Accredited Purchasing Agent.
She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Virginia Association of Realtors, and the Dulles Area Association of Realtors (National). She consistently ranks in the top 5% of real estate agents nationwide thanks to her commitment to lifelong learning, dedication to her community, and dedication to her clients.

Cardinals QB Trace McSorley Sister: Micaela McSorley
Micaela McSorley, McSorley’s younger sister, is a JD candidate at the University of Maryland’s Francis King Carey School of Law, where she will earn a JD next year.
She earned her undergraduate degree at Penn State University, where she studied public relations from 2016-2020.
Likewise, she graduated from Briar Woods High School in 2016 and spent the spring semester of 2019 studying abroad at ISI Florence in Florence, Italy.
She began her career developing social media strategies and regular content for three Penn State University varsity teams: men’s soccer, men’s and women’s swimming and diving, and women’s lacrosse.
She spent three months working as a congressional intern in the United States House of Representatives, helping legislative aides with projects and research.
She then spent the next five months working as a corporate intern for Steampunk and a legal intern for Mythics Inc. She currently works for the Journal of Business and Technology Law as an article writer.

The age gap between Trace and her younger sister is two years. Micaela, her younger sister, was born on December 16, 1997 and will be 25 this year, while Trace is 27.
He was born on August 23, 1995 and grew up in Ashburn, Virginia, USA.
With his fiancée Kasandra Dean Morano, Trace McSorley’s family is growing.
Kasandra “Dean” Morano, who dated Trace McSorley before getting engaged, played field hockey for Penn State from 2014 to 2016.
Morano, who got engaged last year, is a year younger than McSorley, his longtime partner who was born on January 8, 1996. Yes, you read that right: the Happy Valley couple, who started dating there seven years ago, will get married.
Last year, the ex-Penn State quarterback asked his girlfriend to marry him, and she agreed! The ceremony is about to begin.
A simple background check reveals that Greg and Doobie Morano raised Morano in Vineland, New Jersey. Madison, Gregory and Mason are his two brothers and Madison, Madison’s sister, is among his three other siblings.
Interestingly, the family has a history of athletic participation. Her father Greg played football at West Chester, her mother Doobir played field hockey at Lock Haven, and she competed in hockey and received the distinction of being named to the NFHCA National Academy Team (2014 ).

First years
From 2010 to 2014, McSorley attended Briar Woods High School in Ashburn, Virginia. He started out as a freshman in high school football. He guided the group to a 13-2 record and a state title in his rookie season.
He guided the team to a 15-0 record and its third straight state championship two seasons later, during his junior year.
The Virginia Coaches Association and Virginia Preps awarded it to First Team All-State. He received honors as a junior, including First-Team District All-Dulles, Offensive Player of the Year for the District, and Second-Team All-Region Quarterback.
Professional career
Since McSorley was a senior graduating from high school, he immediately qualified for the 2019 NFL Draft. McSorley had entered the draft a year earlier but ultimately withdrew.
McSorley had a formidable combine, recording a quarterback best time of 4.57 seconds for the 40-yard sprint, a vertical jump of 33 inches and a wide jump of 115 inches. McSorley was expected not to be drafted into an ESPN simulation draft by Mel Kiper Jr. in April 2019, but NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that teams were very interested in him and could pick him up. ‘in the third or fourth round.

Private life
Rick and Andrea McSorley are the parents of Trace, who also has a younger sister named Micaela. His uncle Jeff McSorley played football for Marshall University, while his father played football for the University of Richmond. He enjoys playing video games and organized and pickup sports. McSorley earned an accounting degree from Penn State in May 2018 and is pursuing a second degree in journalism.
McSorley is a believer. On his left bicep, McSorley has a tattoo of a cross with the biblical texts Psalms 23:4 and Philippians 4:13. He says the meaning of the tattoo keeps him grounded and true to his roots and “always pulls me in the right direction”.
