The air is ripe with rumors of The Mandalorian season 3 releasing in February 22, 2023 (according to Making Star Wars). And now, according to Production Weekly, season 4 of the series could start filming soon. The latest issue of Production Weekly says production on the show could begin in the first three months of 2023.
If this is true, then The Mandalorian Season 4 will likely be filmed as soon as Season 3 airs. However, the same outlet claimed in August 2022 that the show will begin production on Season 4 at the very end. end of September 2022. But that did not happen.
If we were to give the outlet the benefit of the doubt, it’s possible that pre-production started in late September or early October. And it is only in 2023 that they do a full shoot with the cast.
