New Fan Theory Suggests Shuri’s AI Griot in Wakanda Forever Is Connected to Vision

‘Black Panther: Wakanda ForeverReviews are starting to pour in from professional critics and fans on social media. Also, the overall rating is excellent. Even though the film’s 2 hour and 41 minute runtime upset some audiences, overall it received a lot of appreciation. Fans were especially moved by the cast’s portrayals of the characters, as well as how the dedication and passion of everyone involved in the production came to fruition to provide Chadwick Boseman the honor he so deserved.
However, there was one performance in the film that the vast majority of audiences will likely overlook. Shuri has an artificial intelligence system called Griot which, unlike other technological beings in the MCU, is monotonous and brief, although it has more to express in the sequel. Griot appears in both the first “Black Panther” and the recently released sequel.
The connection of Griot and Vision
Griot in Wakanda forever
A recent fan theory suggests that Griot is actually just a modified version of Vision. We all remember this from Avengers: Infinity War, when Wakanda welcomed Vision in an effort to remove his Mind Stone. Shuri spent hours working on her and studying the Mind Stone; she nearly removed the stone from Mink’s body without harming him, but the Battle of Wakanda happened, and we all know what happened after that. Since the AI also uses the color yellow, which is similar to Mind Stone. Shuri had to save her research and use it to develop Griot. We also know that before receiving his synthetic body, Vision was an AI created by Tony Stark known as Jarvis.

Trevor Noah lends his voice to Griot! Considering Shuri’s prominence in Wakanda Forever and the fact that we got to see Griot in the first Black Panther movie, it’s easy to see why he played a bigger role this time around. Whereas T’Challa by Chadwick Boseman was on this adventure in the first movie, we got to see Shuri and Griot, but not to the same extent as in Wakanda Forever. We’re excited for the possibility of Shuri and Griot teaming up to create whatever tech they want in the future after seeing a little more of their chemistry in this film.
