Tom Holland’s Next Spider-Man Movie Is Still Years Away, As a new contract for the actor has just been signed, according to a rumor. However, preparations for the next voyage of Marvel Studios’ friendly wall-crawler have been dragging on for years.
Many fans are hoping the upcoming trilogy will follow the plot of Spidey’s symbiote suit, especially in light of the end credits scene of No Way Home.
Venom Vs Spidey Will Still Take Time
In light of recent developments regarding Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4, a new report suggests Venom’s MCU future may be on hold.
Ever since Eddie Brock, played by Tom Hardy, left behind a tiny amount of alien stuff at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans have been eager to see what might happen in Spider-Man 4.
With Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, Marvel Studios originally planned to phase in a black costume arc. However, their views changed significantly after Sony Pictures Venom came out in 2018, so much so that the symbiote won’t even be a factor in the upcoming Dutch trilogy.
According to insiders, Marvel had big plans for Tom Holland’s Spidey movies to gradually progress to the symbiote suit, but Sony launching its own Venom franchise caused a lot of trouble.
Although the plot for the Symbiote Suit has begun to emerge, Spider-Man 4 won’t really revolve around the Black Suit since Marvel is saving it for a later movie.
Avengers: Secret Wars
As a fan, I believe Holland Peter Parker should receive his black costume during the events of Avengers: Secret Warsjust like he did in the comics.
Let the symbiote suit linger in the shadows until Avengers: Secret Wars; it would be the perfect scenario for any die-hard comic book fan.
Fans are ready to see what an MCU black suit storyline would look like, but I think Marvel Studios is taking its time with this one.
Getting Spidey back on screen, out of high school, and into a setting where they can build on the solid foundation provided by the Jon Watts trilogy is all that’s needed right now.
