After matriculating, Rachel enrolled at Louisiana State University, where she was on the college track team, and although multiple sources said Rachel was a cheerleader and a Golden Girl (meaning she was a member of Louisiana State University’s popular dance team.), Rachel said that wasn’t true.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations in 2004.

After graduating, Rachel could not find work in her field of study and so started working as a supermarket cashier where she was noticed by a model scout, who invited her to attend a one of their auditions.
