demon slayer shares the story of a secret society called Demon Slayer Corps that has been trying to fight demons for centuries. A smart and kind-hearted boy, Tanjiro Kamado, remains his family’s sole breadwinner after his father’s death. After a long day selling charcoal in a nearby village, Kamado returns home to find his family destroyed by demons and his sister turned into one. He is recruited by the Demon Slayer Corps to avenge the death of his family and turn his sister back into a human. The Japanese manga series the anime is based on is written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge.
my hero academia is an anime series produced by Toho and Bones. The series is an adaptation of a Japanese manga created by Kohei Horikoshi. The story follows a young boy Izuku Midoriya who becomes a superhero after being bullied. Earlier, the boy didn’t have a Quirk, which is a superpower, but a chance encounter with his idol All Might gives him a chance to prove his potential. the first season of my hero academia aired in Japan from April to June 2016.
