“Tom Cruise keeps ruining our shoot by landing his helicopter right in front of where we’re shooting.”
When asked if she would give a piece of her mind to the actor if given the chance, she replied:
“In my habit! To imagine. “Excuse me, Tom, but listen, we’re trying to film. I don’t know about you, but get your helicopter out of here quick!”

While this may be the only time such an encounter has happened, the world is no stranger to Tom Cruise and his affinity for staying close to the skies. The actor infamously holds the license to fly commercial planes and helicopters, is trained and qualified to maneuver and perform stunts with fighter jets (an ability he has exploited on the sets of Top Gun: Maverick), can perform HALO jumps and parachute jumps without professional supervision. And all this only covers the talents he holds in heaven. So it’s no news that Cruise can now afford to fly over the BBC sets en route to delivering the greatest thrill that will be the Impossible mission Grand finale.
Call the midwife Season 12 will air on the BBC in 2023.
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 premieres on July 14, 2023.
