Matt Reeves’ The Batman was released this year to much praise and acclaim despite criticism for its tedious three-hour runtime. While DC fans may have been in theaters, that also included many people who went to the movies just because Robert Pattinson was there, we can’t blame them!
While many DC fans despise Pattinson’s fan intrusion into the DCU fandom, they’re no less guilty with the literal fans that grow around an actor’s time playing a character. This includes a lot of homies who prefer Ben Affleck as Batman over Pattinson, and yes, both of these fanbases are still currently debating who the better Bruce Wayne is.

Batfleck Fans Shut Down After Trying To Take Down Robert Pattinson’s Batman
Recently, reports surfaced regarding Michael Keaton’s return as Batman in the DCU. The report says he will again be disappointed with DC Studios superiors as his screen time in the flash is reduced.
Either way, DC (and Warner Bros.) high-levels David Zaslav, James Gunn, and Peter Safran aren’t too fond of having an aging Bruce Wayne on their DCU roster either.
It hasn’t been an eventful comeback for Keaton, even after officially signing up for a comeback after nearly 3 decades. That now leaves us with just two actors in the DCU roster who have done a good job playing bat.
Robert Pattinson is the newcomer to the DCU, and Ben Affleck had been directing the series since Christian Bale left the role after The dark knight rises. Naturally, comparisons have popped up to gauge these two actors’ performances as billionaire vigilantes.

A Batman VR game is in the works, according to leaks

Janko Roettgers leaked an FTC court filing note that details Iron Man VR Game developer Camouflaj’s plans to create a new VR game based on the DC character, possibly in an attempt to appeal to DC fans after winning over Marvel fans with the Iron Man VR Game.

It’s apparently designed for the Meta Quest headset, which is a virtual reality headset. This will surely elevate the experience of beating DC thugs and villains for Batman fans to a whole new level, but only patience will reveal if it lives up to expectations.
