The Netflix series “Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness” starts this summer on the streaming service.
It’s been over three years since Resident Evil: Vendetta was released. Fans of the zombie franchise may not have had high hopes for another film. The live-action films with Milla Jovovich were over and the animated horror films have also fallen silent. Until Netflix announced in late August that the hunt for the undead would continue:

Just in time for the 25th anniversary of the “Resident Evil” franchise, Netflix is releasing the new series “Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness” in collaboration with Capcom. The animated horror spectacle is based on the popular characters Leon Scott Kennedy and Claire Redfield. In the first trailer, you can see Claire entering an old house.
The new project should not be the planned “Resident Evil” series. This will be published in “Infinite Darkness”. However, fans can be prepared, because the title seems to be the program. The heroes of the series have to stand up not only against dangerous zombies and monsters but also against the government. In the middle of the darkness, they try to bring light into the action. From July 8, 2021, fans will find out whether they will succeed.
