Becca Kufrin of Bachelor Nation and Thomas Jacobs took their relationship to the next step and are engaged now. On Sunday, the Bachelorette alum announced the exciting news and disclosed that she had proposed in an unexpected move and posted an Instagram photo captioning, “In the ultimate plot twist…HE SAID YES.”
She Was The Winner Of The 22nd Season Of ABC’s
Rebecca Jill Kufrin also known as Becca Kunfrin, is a 32 years old American publicist born, and raised in Benson, Minnesota. She was the winner of the 22nd season of ABC’s The Bachelor and played the main character in The Bachelorette’s season 14.
She was born to Jill and Steve Kufrin on April 3rd, 1990. Becca holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication and worked at Skyya Communication before being on The Bachelor. Becca was with Garrett Yrigoyen for the span of 2 years and now is engaged to Thomas Jacob.
Thomas Jacobs is 29 years old and was a contestant on The Bachelorette in the 17th season. Though he was being eliminated, he made his return on Bachelor in Paradise, Season 7. The good thing that happened to him on his return was, that he met Becca. Yes, Bachelor in Paradise is where Jacobs and Becca met.
Last summer, Becca and Thomas met on a beach in Mexico and felt an instant connection. Despite the fact that Becca broke up with Thomas right before the season concluded and they did not leave the show together, they reconnected after Becca contacted him to apologize after filming was completed. Becca’s one Instagram post says, “Of course, we had to reconnect in our own ways.” Tommy and Boops, as they are popularly known, have had a loving and happy relationship ever since.
In one of the Instagram posts, Becca expresses her happiness and shows gratitude to Thomas for making her the happiest girl alive and that he makes her heart smile. Becca also adds that she loves Thomas to the moon and back. She says she finally found her chauffeur for life. She shared photographs of them embracing, kissing, posing with their two dogs, bursting with champagne, and showing off Jacobs’ engagement ring in her post.
The couple’s posts are filled with comments of love, support, and blessings from their well-wishers. Their former Bachelorettes also wished the couple in the comment section.
Becca and Jacobs had been dating for less than a year when they announced their engagement. Before dropping down on one knee, Kufrin outlined her proposal conditions to Jacobs earlier this month. Kufrin had already made 2 public proposals, but this she wanted to keep very private. She did keep it within them and their close friends and Jacobs had no problem with that.
