Peaky Blinders Season 6: Steven Knight Spills Details On Release Date

One of the most anticipated releases of Netflix is season 6 of Peaky Blinders, which is estimated to be for 2021. This would be the last season of the series. Although, according to its creator, Steven Knight, he assured that “the story will continue in another way.”

Peaky Blinders tells the story of the Shelby family, a powerful mafia clan originating in the British city of Birmingham. Currently, all the episodes from the first season to the fifth are available on the streaming platform. And although the production of the last one was delayed due to the pandemic, it is already underway and photographs of the recordings have been leaked.

“Peaky is back and with a bang. After the forced delay in production due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we found the family in extreme danger and the stakes have never been higher. We believe this will be the best series ever and we are sure our amazing fans will love it. As the television series comes to an end, the story will continue in another way,” said Steven Knight.

When Does The New Season Premiere On Netflix?

Regarding its premiere, director Anthony Byrne commented that “we were supposed to start filming at the end of March [2020] until the end of July. If we started filming in January, we wouldn’t finish until May/June and then it will be another six months of editing.”

This means that the sixth season of Peaky Blinders will probably see the light of day in late 2021 or early 2022. Well, first the series must be released in full on the BBC in the UK, and later, it will be available on Netflix throughout the world. That is to say, at that time, we will have to take care of the spoilers that will surely come out.
