Amber Heard may have lost her legal battle with Johnny Depp, but she made a more gracious departure from the case than her husband. As for Depp, 59, who was celebrating with a curry house in Birmingham, England, it closed down for him to have a blowout dinner with close friends. Sources said that they saw Heard, 36, having an intimate dinner in the Hamptons after her high-profile judicial incident.

June 5 was a day that Depp paid $62,000 for an extravagant meal with champagne and cocktails in an Indian restaurant, where she was joined by friends, including rock actor Jeff Beck, but Heard helped her heal by serving a more relaxed lunch. People who dined nearby said they saw The “Aquaman” star, awarded $2 million while dining at the Greek eatery at Water Mill with her sister, Whitney Heard, and Whitney’s two kids.
Amber, who was slammed on social media in after the incident, does not appear to be staying away from her Hollywood coworkers. It is because of her restaurant that Calissa has a huge following among Hamptons A-listers.
“It was lovely to see her out living her life again,” an acquaintance diner commented. The former spouses had filed a lawsuit against each another for slander in the aftermath of their bitter 2017 divorce. Whitney has been by Amber’s side throughout the trial, sworn testimony and posting on Instagram following the decision, “I still stand with you, sissy.” A discussion featuring Amber regarding the case will air on the show “Dateline” on Friday and will air throughout this week on “Today.”
In an interview on Monday that she did not blame jurors for their decision, “I don’t blame them; I understand,” she explained to Savannah Guthrie. “He’s a well-liked figure, and people believe they know him.” He’s an incredible actor.”
Amber previously described the outcome as a “setback” for women. Depp appeared disheveled when security helped him from his hotel earlier in the month. According to one source, the security staff kept him safe and away from “huge crowds” eager to meet him “Edward Scissorhands” actor. “Everywhere he goes, he’s surrounded by fans,” our source said.
The lawyer for Depp was seen celebrating the victory and her appointment as a partner in her legal firm in New York City last week. Depp filed a lawsuit against Heard for defamation over an op-ed from December 2018 published that appeared in The Washington Post in February 2019. Depp stated in his lawsuit that the op-ed included three defamatory statements. First, the title, “Amber Heard: I came out against sexual abuse and suffered the fury of our culture
“Depp further claimed she believed Heard was the person who abused him and claimed that her allegations were a fraud against him.
