The devs of Frostpunk have finally opened their mouth about Frostpunk 2 release date which was recently leaked by unofficial sources. The administration team of Frostpunk took it to Twitter to address the issue and has clarified every rumor surrounding the release date of Frostpunk 2.
The release date of Frostpunk 2 was leaked by SteamDB and along with Frostpunk, the source also leaked release dates of other anticipated games including Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection and Dune: Space Wars. The dates were leaked on 15th March and within no time, 11 Bit Studio clarified the rumors on the official page of Frostpunk.

The official Twitter page of Frostpunk has tweeted, “As we heard today, information about the #Frostpunk2 launch date leaked into the public space.
We assure you that any pieces of information that aren’t coming straight from the Administration offices are false”. The Frostpunks has made their tweet a little bit dramatic by saying, “Thank you for your all attention. Liars shall be punished” with a picture taken from the official announcement trailer of Frostpunk 2.
Fans who have been excited about the release date was kind of disappointed when the administrations said that it is false because they have been waiting for the Frostpunk 2 for so long but they are loyal to their game, so they will wait and believe in the creators rather than on any false claims.
Administrators of other games whose release date has been leaked together with Frospunk haven’t addressed the issue yet and are expected that they will address it anytime soon, otherwise, they will be hanging their gamers with lots of unanswered questions.
Frostpunk 1 was officially released in 2018 and initially, it was only released on Microsoft. But as the game got generally positive reviews from everyone all around the world, the creators expanded the availability of the game and released it on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The game was also made to be available in macOS and also a mobile version of Frostpunk was released after its initial release. Starting out as a game with little hype, Frostpunk 1 became an interesting and adventurous game that many people loved to play.
Within three years of its release, the game was sold over 3 million copies worldwide and the numbers have only increased in the future years. Set in the 19th century, Frostpunk is about building a city in a volcanic winter and surviving throughout the weather.
